Spring Clearing
It’s Spring, time to blossom and to do Spring Cleaning on your self, beliefs and attitude.
If you are still holding onto some old beliefs and conceptions that you’ve missed the boat when it comes to love, career, opportunities, age, mentality, or finance, it’s time to let them go and turn over a new leaf! Negative self-talk and beliefs are only true if you say they are. In order to manifest whatever you hold yourself back from or fear, you must choose to believe and move forward in life towards what you want and away from what you don’t want.
Spring is a time known for clarity: clarity in love and relationships, work and success, and life in general. It is also known for sunny days and play dates. Most of us who enjoy the outdoors, camping, or strolls with the kids and dogs are exposed to grass and allergies.
Hypnosis can help not only in delving within your core self to becoming clear of your true highest intentions, it can also help clear your allergies. Here is a ten step method to clear your allergies and becoming clearer in your intentions and healwithin! To start with:
-Make yourself comfortable. in a chair or lie down.
-Close your eyes and concentrate on relaxing your body. from head to toe.
-Introduce soothing images into your mind. Visualize trees, clam water, puffy white clouds, pastural scenes.
-Regulate your breathing to simulate that of sleeping person: slow and regular.
1. MY MIND IS IN COMMAND OF MY BODY. MY MIND CONTROLS ALL OF MY BODILY FUNCTIONS.
Relax and concentrate until you feel as though your entire body is being controlled by your mind’s power. Then continue to number two.
2. I AM FREE OF ALLERGIES. I HAVE NEVER HAD ALLERGIES.
Relax and concentrate for several moments. Then continue to number three.
3. ALL SENSITIVITY IN MY NOSE AND EYES WILL MOVE TO MY SCALP.
Relax and concentrate. Move all of your mental energy to your nose and eyes. As soon as you have total concentration in this area, concentrate on removing that sensitivity from your nose and eyes, up your forehead, and to your scalp. Mentally visualize this movement. As soon as you feel the movement or a tingling sensation in your scalp, imagine 10 fingers massaging your scalp and opening the pores – letting it flow out and away from your scalp – now go to number four.
4. MY MIND IS IN COMMAND OF MY BODY.
Pause and concentrate.
I AM FEELING BETTER THAN I HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE IN MY LIFE.
Pause and concentrate.
I AM FREE OF ALLERGIES. I HAVE NEVER HAD ALLERGIES.
Relax and concentrate for several moments. Then continue to number five.
5. I AM FREE OF ALLERGIES. I HAVE NEVER HAD ALLERGIES.
Relax and concentrate for several moments. Then go to number six.
6. ALL SENSITIVITY IN MY NOSE AND EYES WILL GO TO MY SCALP.
Relax and concentrate. Move all of your mental energy to your nose and eyes. As soon as you have total concentration in this area, concentrate on removing that sensitivity from your nose and eyes, up your forehead, and to your scalp. Mentally visualize this movement. As soon as you feel the movement or a tingling sensation in your scalp, go to number seven.
7. MY MIND IS IN COMMAND OF MY BODY.
Pause and concentrate.
I AM FEELING BETTER THAN I HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE IN MY LIFE.
Pause and concentrate.
I CHOOSE TO NEVER ACCEPT SINUS ALLERGIES AGAIN.
Pause and concentrate.
MY MIND IS IN CONTROL OF MY BODY.
Relax and concentrate for several moments. Then go to number eight.
8. I AM FREE OF ALLERGIES. I HAVE NEVER HAD ALLERGIES. ALL SENSITIVITY IN MY NOSE AND EYES WILL MOVE TO MY SCALP.
Relax and once again concentrate all of your mental energy to your nose and eyes, and again mentally visualize the movement of sensitivity to your scalp – massaging it out and away. After you feel the movement or tingling sensation in your scalp go to number nine.
9. MY MIND IS IN TOTAL COMMAND OF MY BODY. WHEN I SAY THE WORD TEN, ALL OF MY MENTAL ENERGY WILL BE CONCENTRATED IN MY NOSE AND EYES. ALL SENSITIVITY IN MY NOSE AND EYES WILL MOVE TO MY SCALP. AFTER I REPEAT THE WORD TEN, I WILL OPEN MY EYES AND FEEL BETTER THAN I HAVE EVER FELT BEFORE IN MY LIFE.
Relax and concentrate for several moments. Then go to number ten.
10. All of your mental energy now is concentrated in your nose and eyes. Mentally visualize the sensitivity as it moves from your nose and eyes to your scalp. When you feel the movement or a tingling in your scalp, hold your concentration there for several moments. Now repeat the word
TEN!
After opening your eyes, you should feel relaxed and refreshed, better than you have ever felt before in your life.
Hay Fever
Hay fever can be quite irritating. Symptoms include runny, streaming, sneezing, stuffy and blocked nose, itching in the throat and nose, headaches, itching and red watering eyes, inability to smell and even taste food, itchy ears and disturbed sleep as well as feelings of listlessness and depression.
Hay fever can affect work and personal life and spoil what should be enjoyable and productive activities.
Hay fever is an over-reaction
Hay fever, like any allergic response, is actually an over-reaction. Hay fever is medically labeled as ‘seasonal allergies.’ It is a significant risk factor for the development of asthma; the two often co-exist with as many as 80% of asthmatics having some form of hay fever.
Pollen from blooming or pollinating plants can cause all the symptoms of hay fever from streaming eyes, sneezing and general irritation of the delicate linings of the nasal passage, throat and eyes. Hay fever like any allergy is an over-reaction of the immune system. The immune system wrongly determines the pollen as a threat and produces a big unnecessary response.
Hay fever is usually seasonal.
Hay fever can affect up to 20% of the population. For most people hay fever is seasonal and they only experience the symptoms during the spring and summer pollen season. For a minority of sufferers the symptoms last all year round and can be caused by house dust mites, mould and animal fur. This can feel like having a permanent cold and sore throat.
Pollen is basically a grain to transport the male DNA to the female part of the flower. There are different types of pollen, the most common allergen is grass pollen.
Medical treatments include antihistamines and steroids which work to calm the immune system’s over-reaction. However medical treatments are palliative and won’t necessarily stop the symptoms from starting in the first place.
Hypnosis can help re-set unconscious patterns so that the immune system only responds to what it needs to respond to, not what it doesn’t need to.

Menopause, or the permanent end of menstruation and fertility, is a natural biological process, not a medical illness.

When you are approaching “The Change” (a term used by some women to refer to menopause), you should not focus on its negative aspects. You can accept the fact that there can or will be a lot of discomfort because of the hormonal changes.

Menstrual irregularities:
The most glaring sign is the irregularity of the menstrual cycle or the change in the density of the blood.
Night sweats:
A sensation of heat spreading throughout the body from chest to the face, accompanied by nausea and sweating is called night sweats. They last for about thirty seconds to five minutes. Alcohol, anxiety and hot spicy food can exacerbate these feelings.
Sleep disturbances:
Night sweats are the primary reason for sleep disturbances. Women try to adjust their clothes according to their body temperature which causes a disturbance during sleep. This can result in a sleepless night for many.
Joint and muscle aches:
Morning stiffness accompanied with joint pains in the knees and shoulder is very common during menopause.
Genital changes:
The reduction in hormones’ inflow during menopause causes the vagina tissues to thin. This leads to vaginal dryness. Bacterial infections can also occur.
Urinary problems:
Infection in the urinary tract as a result of menopause is very common. The symptoms for this disease include frequent urination and a strong odor in the urine.
Even so, the physical and emotional symptoms of menopause can disrupt your sleep, sap your energy and – at least indirectly – trigger feelings of sadness and loss.
It doesn’t have to be. You don’t have to have:
* annoying mood swings including crying jags
* being prone to anger most of the time
* hot flashes during the day
* night sweats and wet sheets at night
* an inability to focus
* a significant loss of short-term memory
* uncomfortable gas and bloating
* abnormal weight gain
You can ease into it and you can breeze through it with guided imagery and self-hypnosis – I do. In the last few years I have gone through many muscular and joint aches and pains and still do sometimes. Using self-hypnosis has helped me cope and ease the process and manage my life better!
