Liza was invited to speak at the Shepherd’s Door Domestic Violence Resource  Center’s 2nd Annual Mind, Body, & Soul Women Wellness Luncheon. The mission of Shepherd’s Door is to break the cycle of domestic violence through relationship education, youth violence prevention awareness, and direct rescue intervention.

The 12^th Annual Women in Business Legislative Update and Awards Luncheon recognized women who have contributed to the economic vitality and quality of life in the Glendale area. Presented by State Senator Carol Liu (D-21), and State  Assemblymembers Anthony Portantino and Mike Gatto.

“Jewel of Glendale – Women of Courage Award” – 2010

Presented by the City of Glendale’s Commission on the Status of Women, this award recognizes, honors, and raises the visibility of Glendale women who have overcome hardship to become strong, positive role models for the community. 

“Women Achievers Award” – 1995

Presented by Business Life Magazine, this award salutes women leaders from the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys.
