Did you know hookah smoking involves more nicotine than cigarette smoking because of the massive volume of smoke smokers inhale during hookah smoking?

• Most of the people think hookah smoking as a safer alternative to other forms of smoking because the hookah smoke is filtered through water before it is inhaled. But recent studies have found that smoking from a hookah is just as dangerous as smoking a cigarette.
• Lung cancer is currently responsible for 29% of cancer deaths in the United States, responsible for more deaths than breast cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer combined. Even though more women are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more men with prostate cancer, lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths for both men and women.
• Cigarette smoking is the major cause of lung cancer among women. About 90% of all lung cancer deaths among U.S. women smokers are attributable to smoking.

We are open to 4 billion bits of information moment by moment and we can only consciously process 2 thousand. So without our brain’s ability to filter information by deleting, distorting and generalizing, we would be overwhelmed.

At the end we choose what we believe we need and what would be useful for us. Apart from our belief system there are a number of other factors. Without intention to underestimate the others, we’ll focus on our belief system now. It plays the major role in the successful outcome of a hypnotherapy.

The saying: “We move towards our most dominant thought process. What we believe, is how we live.” can be applied to a hypnosis sessions as well.

The power of you being hypnotized lies with you, not the therapist. The therapist’s skills are important, but not as nearly as is your belief system. To be able to implement any change in our lives we need willpower. The conscious mind is where we have our willpower. However, our long established habits are controlled by our unconscious mind. Every habit has been programmed within you and some habits are difficult to consciously change, because it is no longer within the conscious awareness of how and when you do it.  It is being done without thinking about it.

A change in your life is only possible if you really want it to happen! The therapist’s role is to support you and assist you in the process of the change. The level of your desire will determine how successful you are going to be.  It is that easy and simple!
