What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a natural way of bypassing your conscious mind and reaching directly to the subconscious mind. In a state of deep relaxation, your mind accepts suggestions as they are and releases beliefs that hold you back. Hypnotherapy is effective because it works directly with the part of the mind that keeps the problem in place – the unconscious. We use guided visualization another form of hypnosis to help You, the client, make the changes they want in their lives quickly, easily and effectively.
Simply put, Hypnotherapy is the combination of hypnosis and therapy.
Through hypnotherapy, Liza guides you to directly delve into your subconscious mind and to edit or change a behavior that may be negatively impacting your ability to live life to the fullest.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” ~Albert Einstein
There are many reasons to use Hypnotherapy. Most commonly, to stop smoking, manage weight, overcome fears and anxieties or cure phobias. Hypnotherapy is also proven to be very effective for folks who want to be more confident, overcome or let go of undesirable habits or patterns
Hypnotherapy works by uncovering the reasons for your struggle trapped in your subconscious. Using hypnotherapy techniques, we facilitate a process of healing to positively change your life. Unlike modern medicine, hypnotherapy seeks to uncover the source of your problem to reveal the cause and to help you heal – without drugs, without sedatives and without dulling the senses.
Hypnotherapy has been approved by the AMA, the American Psychological Assoc., John Hopkins Hospital, The British Medical Assoc., and every major religion on the planet.
“Your subconscious mind is like the soil which accepts any kind of seed – good or bad. It is the seat of your emotions and the storehouse of your memory.”~ Liza Boubari
To properly prepare a person for hypnosis, a complimentary 15 minute consultation is provided to all new clients. I educate my clients regarding some misconceptions; we discuss what is involved and answer any questions. This is necessary because I believe there are only three things that can prevent a person from being hypnotized: (1) lack of knowledge, (2) fear, (3) resistance. If a person can think, reason, and communicate, that person can be hypnotized. By discussing the misconceptions and answering the client’s questions, hopefully any fear of hypnosis can be eliminated. The only other thing that keeps a person from being hypnotized is resistance which you the client controls.
You are in full control of your Self and do most of the work. As your hypnotherapist, I guide and coach you to a state so that you can help yourself:
- Become more aware of your stored emotions
- Accept the inevitability of changes
- Make the most of the benefits brought by change
